I keep coming back because Coastguard Cottage has everything I need. From the helpful staff who gave me plug adaptors, to the outdoor dining area and flat-screen TV. The electric kettle and tennis court are bonuses. Perfect for my city trips.

The host was very welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The location of the hotel was excellent, with the main harbor and shops within walking distance. We also appreciated the fact that there was a supermarket just across the road, making it convenient for any last-minute purchases. The clear and calm sea at Fistral beach was an absolute delight to experience.

There were a few negative aspects of our stay. we were disappointed that we only stayed for a short break and didn't have the chance to stay longer.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming B&B near the beautiful beaches of Newquay. The location was fantastic, with the main harbor and shops within walking distance. I appreciated the convenience of having a supermarket just across the road. The crystal-clear sea and Street Food stalls at the harbor made my stay even more delightful. The room was absolutely lovely and kept immaculately clean throughout my visit. The host was incredibly considerate, checking on my dietary needs in advance and making me feel at home. The tips she provided for exploring the area were invaluable. Although the double bed was a bit small for me and my partner, it was surprisingly comfortable and didn't result in any sore backs. The value for money was excellent, especially considering how close the accommodation was to the city beaches and entertainment district. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and fantastic coffee. I cannot recommend this B&B enough. It's the perfect place to stay in Newquay, and I'll definitely be returning in the future.
